Our Christmas Breaks begin this Friday 10th November and we can’t wait to welcome all our guests for the most magical of celebrations.
Our teams are busy preparing for this year’s Winter Wonderland. That means hanging thousands of twinkling lights, rustling up delicious festive treats and building a whole NEW grotto for Santa!
Did you know, work on Winter Wonderland starts back in spring, with members of staff from across the Village, include from our entertainment team, guest services, holiday experience, IT and marketing all getting together to prepare for the year ahead.
Joanna Bamber, Holiday Experience Manager, explains her role in the preparation for Winter Wonderland.
Joanna said: “Myself and the rest of the Holiday Experience team have been planning new festive activities and entertainment for The Hive, recruiting additional seasonal staff members and designing a whole new Santa’s Grotto experience that we can’t wait for everyone to see.”
She added: “You’ll notice that Santa has moved from the Tree House to his new home on The Island. This means we’ve got more space to really enhance the experience, make it more immersive and even more magical.”

Holiday Experience Duty Manager, Gareth Pearson, said: “The whole new Santa’s Grotto experience is going to be really special.”
“I don’t want to give too much away, but guests will journey through a magical trail where there’ll be several fun interactive stations. Children will get to meet Head Elf and then the excitement really builds as they gather reindeer dust and write their wish list. It’s going to be a really amazing experience.”
