The world around us is slowly coming back to life after a long and harsh winter, but are you left feeling like your skin isn’t quite ready for spring? Whilst nature begins to bloom this is a great time for us to slowly re-awaken our skin and begin to rejuvenate and revitalise ahead of the warmer months.
Say goodbye to winter and dead skin – The first step to glowing skin is always to remove any dead skin you have on the surface. The gorgeous ELEMIS Intensely Cleansing Salt Scrub will remove any dead skin cells and encourage the regeneration of new cells leaving you with a real spring glow.
Lighten up – For most people winter dries the skin and a heavier moisturiser is required. As spring comes around and it warms up rich creams aren’t necessary, your skin’s natural oils begin to take over. Go for lightweight creams, serums or mists such as Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Hydro-Mist.
Spring Clean – If you normally spring clean the house, don’t forget to do your make-up bag too. A good wash of your make-up brushes can really make the difference in your complexion and optimal application of your make-up.
Embrace Sun protection – Even though spring weather in the UK is inconsistent, lay the foundation for good sun-protection; whether that’s applying sun screen on cloudy days or using make-up that has a good SPF built in.
Double cleanse – As you begin to spend more time outside your skin becomes more exposed to impurities and may also sweat more too. Rather than using harsh cleansers, find a gentle cleanser and double cleanse to rid the skin of any dirt. Try Ishga Marine Cleansing Balm which melts away make up, stress and pollution and leaves the skin refreshed and nourished.
Say hello to spring at The Spa Hotel with relaxing spa breaks, luxurious treatments and a visit to our award-winning Spa. You can also enjoy that spa feeling at home! Visit our spa retail area and browse a full range of products from our partner brands, including ELEMIS and Ishga.
