The emotional vows, the hysterical speeches and the all-important Dad dancing – you will round your special day off with many mementos.
The most important of these will be an album full of photographs to bring the emotion of those precious moments flooding back to you. Stealing a moment away from the celebrations to explore The Village is essential in capturing gorgeous wedding portraits you will be eager to share with your loved ones!
We are lucky to have an abundance of idyllic settings in the heart of the Fylde countryside for those fundamental photographs.
The Village is a haven across all seasons.
Gorgeous greenery & beautiful blooms in spring & summer, amber hues as autumn hits and our very own Winter Wonderland as the temperature drop. Come rain or shine, there is plenty of inspiration with gorgeous hotspots as a backdrop for your precious snaps.
Fisherman’s Reach at the heart of the village is a staple whatever the weather, with glistening waters home to our famous ducks and encircled by perfect, pastel cottages. Surrounded by bulrushes, embrace at the end of one of wooden jetty’s for a picture perfect moment your photographer will be sure to capture.
Venture to The SPA Hotel where it’s grand façade is a stunning backdrop of flowing water fountain, lily pad lined water, expansive staircase and ornate balconies. When the weather isn’t on your side the staircase acts as a gorgeous canopy to seek shelter and to nestle away from the elements.
Take a wander through our Woodland Trail, under the bamboo archway and along a pathway carving a route full of rustic charm. Grand oak trees line the way, an umbrella of greenery with rays of sunshine scattering through marking a carpet of crisp leaves – the perfect setting for truly romantic memories.
Amongst the well-known hotspots on The Village are a treasure trove of hidden gems. Our Village Garden – hand tended by our fantastic grounds team – is a hive of flora & fauna and a gorgeous setting when the buds are in full bloom. Complete with a charming greenhouse, central pond and a myriad of colourful flowers and freshly grown vegetables there are so many options all in one place to capture some gorgeous, intimate wedding portraits.
Scale the steps to our Tree House and view The Village from up high and steal a moment away to take in the day. Whichever option you choose, you’ll be sure to make memories that last a lifetime and your treasured photographs will preserve them forever.
