An Introduction to ishga

ishga brand spotlight

At The Spa Hotel we pride ourselves on only working with the very best partners and whilst ishga is perhaps the lesser known of our product houses, it’s quality and finesse speak for itself.

We started working with the ishga brand in it’s infancy and now it’s featured in over 70 prestigious spas across the world. A quintessentially Scottish brand, the name ishga is derived from the Gaelic word for water, and the ocean is at the very heart of what they do at ishga.

It’s founders; a scientist and beauty therapist, created ishga to harness the natural antioxidants, healing, and anti-ageing properties of pure, organic Scottish seaweed. Using four different types of Hebridean seaweed ishga have created a skincare brand that not only transforms, but also protects the skin with it’s abundance of vitamins and bioactive minerals, and the icing on the cake, all ishga products are proudly vegan and cruelty free.

Retail

At The Spa Hotel we stock a wide variety of ishga products, including the first product they ever created, and also their best selling product – ishga Anti-Oxidant Marine Cream. There are so many wonderful products to choose from, including our Spa Supervisor’s favourite –  ishga Nourishing Organic Face Oil.

Gemma said: “It’s one of my favourite products we stock. It’s beautiful! It works day or night as a wonderfully balancing, natural vegan face oil .It glides over your face and leaves your skin with a silky glow. I love it! I use the 30ml size, which is going to be perfect for taking with me on my summer holiday this year!”
