It’s cold outside and the children are restless. But we have the perfect place to keep them warm indoors, whilst still burning off some of that endless energy. And, Mum and Dad, you might even enjoy it yourselves, too.
The fantastic family Leisure Pool at Ribby Hall Village is a dream come true for children who love swimming, sliding or just splashing about in water. With its tropical island theme, complete with swaying palm trees, the pool feels like a giant adventure playground surrounded by water.
The shallow splash lagoon is perfect for younger children not quite ready for ‘the deep end’. Beneath the gaze of our towering, Tiki statues, little ones can enjoy mini slides, interactive water features and cascading buckets. And just wait for the squeals of delight, as the giant barrel reaches tipping point and soaks everyone who is standing underneath!
The pool’s two racer slides are perfect for friends and siblings who are feeling competitive. ‘Which is the fastest?’ they ask. ‘The yellow or the green?’ Well, there’s only one way to find out. Climb the steps, choose your slide and off you go!
For real thrill seekers, our 48-metre, interactive tunnel slide will provide the much sought-after adrenaline rush. Stretching out over the roof of the building then back in again, this slippery challenge features on-ride music, lights and more. On the way down, riders can take part in an interactive reaction game, finding out the results when they reach the end. They can have their picture taken to upload to social media, to tell everyone their score.
There are two hot tubs for when everyone needs to chill out for a while and, for the grown-ups, there are luxury steam rooms and a sauna. Really, what’s not love?
If you have a member in your party who doesn’t want to swim, no problem. They can grab a coffee from Starbucks and relax in our Tiki-themed viewing area, watching and listening as the splash-filled fun is had by all.

Parents must supervise children at all times in the swimming pool. Please note our Supervision Policy: 1 adult to 1 child under 4 years old | 1 adult to 2 children 4 – 7 years | 1 adult to 4 children 8 – 12 years
