The Day before you say ‘I Do’

You will meet with your personal Wedding Coordinator and deliver those all-important finishing touches that you have spent months or even years collecting. This includes anything from flowers, to thank you gifts for the wedding party, to pictures of the two of you showing your time together so far…..

From the moment you decide that Ribby Hall Village is your dream wedding venue, your dedicated and experienced wedding planner will help you plan your big day.

Whilst you’re getting ready

If you are to be married at our venue, we start by dressing the ceremony room ready for your arrival. Next, we then move into your chosen wedding breakfast room and spend time placing the flowers, place cards, centre pieces and any other personal touches that you have chosen. We want to ensure that every last detail is perfect!

Groom Arrival

The Groom will usually arrive 45 minutes before the ceremony is due to start. We always ensure that we meet the Groom as soon as he arrives, as it’s always nice to see a familiar face. We then take him to see the registrars, who will run through the ceremony and confirm all personal details with him.

Guest Arrival

Once the Groom has seen the registrar it’s time for the Wedding Coordinator to ask all the guests to be seated in the ceremony room, ready for the entrance of the bride.

Bride Arrival

After guests have taken their seats, the registrars will then greet the bride at the entrance and explain all she needs to know about the ceremony. Your Wedding Coordinator will be here at this point to offer support, whether it be that you need a quick glass of water, a tissue to dry those happy tears or your dress needs a last minute tweak.

Wedding Venue

Ceremony Music

Your Wedding Coordinator will help to organise page boys, flowers girls and bridesmaids in your chosen order outside the ceremony room. Once you are ready, the music will play, the doors will open and it’s your time to shine. Enjoy every second, savour every moment and let your emotions show.  Your Wedding Coordinator will be there all the way. We are always present in the ceremony room whilst you say ‘I Do’ (we love this bit!)

Your wedding breakfast & Evening Reception

Whilst you are enjoying cocktails, canapés, photos and catching up with all of your guests, your Wedding Coordinator will be busy adding the final touches to the room. We then ask the newly married couple to come and see the room before anyone else, this gives you the chance to take it all in on your own before guests are asked to enter. This is a special moment as all the months and years of planning come together for you to enjoy.

Once you are happily seated and enjoying your delicious wedding breakfast, it’s time for your Wedding Coordinator to introduce you to your Duty Manager who will be on hand throughout the evening reception. They will coordinate the first dance, cake cut, evening buffet and will watch you dance the night away with all your family and friends.
